Great choices! I can certainly vouch for Mr Troy Ford’s brilliant work as well as Lincoln in the Bardo (so tragic, so beautiful, so experimental, so pure...). The others are on my evergrowing list. Thanks for sharing with us 😍
THANK YOU, Garrett!!! Really appreciate the shoutout, and I'm glad you highlighted that particular sentence because that was a new insight I only had while writing the piece ("the benefits of writing on Substack") that sometimes the path to forgiving - rather than eternally damning ourselves for the mistakes we make - is to realize we are not acting in isolation but within a whole system which can distort our thinking.
Loved the trailer for The Mighty Gemstones - must comb this post for all the gems... Cheers ⭐

You're very welcome! Thank YOU for sharing it with us!
Great list here, Garrett. Just watched the Indiana Jones video. Wow. Soo good.
Isn't that fun!? Spielberg, in my opinion, is awesome. And so is Soderbergh.
So good, plus that link has then modified my YouTube algorithm to suggest various other film scene breakdown videos, which I've really enjoyed.
